Bradleys fishery in the Cotswold Water ParkThis year sees a new venue hosting the semi finals of the British Carp Angling Championships. It’s the awesome Bradleys fishery in the Cotswold Water Park owned and run by Watermark Fisheries.

Qualifiers from the first 8 eliminators go through to Semi Final 1 with the top three from the last 8 qualifiers going through to Semi 2

Semi 1: 11th – 13th July
Semi 2: 25th – 27th July

Bradleys is 114 acres in size and holds approximately 2500 fish. Many of them are fast growing doubles which have been recently stocked into the lake and there are also some of the old originals which are the same strain as the historic Ashlea Pool fish. The official lake record currently stands at 36lbs but there are rumours of bigger fish present. Being so lightly fished means that there may be some surprises in the water and we are hoping that they might show themselves in the BCAC semi’s this year. The lake is an old gravel pit with plenty of features, bays, bars and a large plateau. The water is crystal clear so rigs will have to spot on.

Follow the road for about a mile and you will see The Tackle Den (01285 862680) on the left hand side near to a ski lake and it is here that you can get your tickets for Bradleys.
