HISTORY
The British Championships was launched in 1999 by the then reigning world champion Rob Hughes to critical acclaim. To some carp fishing was not about about competitions, but that view has changed significantly as more and more anglers join in and experience the thrill that an entry into the BCAC gives. Since 1999 the BCAC has become the highlight of the UK carp angling calendar and everyone wants to get their name on the top trophy in UK carp angling, that of BCAC champion.
You’ve only got to look into the hall of fame to see the list of quality anglers that can claim the title of champion. Make no mistake, wining the BCAC is not an easy feat, but it can be done, and a hand on the trophy means a serious amount of respect and credibility in the carp angling world. |
