Created in 2008, Mustang Lake is a specially designed five acre carp water first used by us in 2011 for our sister event the UK Carp Cup. So impressed by the fishery we are delighted to be back for 2012 with a BCAC qualifier. A huge amount of research and effort has gone into the construction of the lake to ensure a great experience for anglers of all abilities. Mustang has been stocked with over 200 handpicked carp including both Dinton and Horseshoe strains. Mustang might very well be one of our smaller fisheries for this years' BCAC but what it lacks in size it most definitely makes up for in quality.

Welcome to fishing bankside we are a new shop opening in Colchester Essex and intend to supply quality tackle and bait to all styles of fishing. We will be stocking Carp, Course, Sea and Game tackle and bait along with quality clothing for everyone. We will be stocking tackle and clothing from Fox, Wychwood, Leeda map Matrix, Gardner to name a few with many more brand added as the shop grows. We will also be stocking many independent brands like turner tackle ltd swim tackle total PVA and more. As well as tackle and clothing we will be stocking many types of bait from Mainline, Bait Tech, Willys Worms and several independents like Carpballs UK, Haul-em Baits and Creative Baits. As well as branded clothing we will be stocking a range from Slyfish, Bitg, Wofte and Swim. The shop will be a good social atmosphere with free tea and coffee always and a good chat. Our aim is to give the angling community a wider range of products and hope you can find time to pop in and say hi.
