DDAPs Brooklands day ticket water in Dartford has been on the BCAC tour for a few years now, but this year sees it move to round 1 in the BCAC calendar. The big question is how it will fish in April. Last year the fish spawned just before the competition which made the going tough. April is a cracking time of year to fish there and with a good head of twenties and upper doubles to go for it should be a great event.

MATCH SUMMARY
POACHER BAITS BROOKLANDS
Chilly winds and high pressure kept the fish off the feed at the Poacher Baits backed Brooklands event last weekend but is didn't dampen the spirits of the competitors who took part in a very close run competition. It was Mainline Fox's Rob Tough and Tom Duncan Dunlop who lead from the off and took the win with a convincing performance.
Elsewhere three other teams battled it out for the duration of the competition jockeying for position but is was Dan Moorcroft and Colin Gray who pipped Afishionado's Steve Gee and Colin Haywood to second place.
Just 5 teams ended up on the score board but all agreed it was a great competition and exceptionally well run by Captain Kev and Gaffer Gav.
