Boyers Farlows lake has been with the BCAC from day one and is traditionally the opening round of the year. There is no change for 2010 as we see a return to one of the most popular day ticket lakes in the country. With open water and islands plus intimate bays there is something for everyone at Farlows, and with a café on site it’s a great place to spend a weekend.

MATCH SUMMARY
AQUABORNE FARLOWS The competitors were on fire at the Aquaborne sponsored event at Farlows lake with 7 pairs in contention virtually all the way through the match. It was incrediby exciting to watch, but very nerve racking to participate in as the top 7 regularly swapped places in the top 3 qualifying slots. In the end it was the Carp Talk hot shots of Ben and Barry O Connor who took the first placed honours with an impressive display of angling from the smelly bank. Scotts island produced second for first timers in the event Brad Sears and Stu Harbour sponsored by 5 star baits and the final qualifying slot went to last years winners Jim Griffin and Dan Farey. Commiserations to the teams that didn't qualify, especially to those that ended up in the final battle. It was an incredibly close run thing and all of the teams fished well.
