The Q Lake on Pool Bridge farm is an enigma as there is nothing like it anywhere else in the country. Shaped like a letter Q, everyone fishes out from the central island into their own water. There are lots if fish in the venue averaging doubles and into twenties so the weights should be reasonable for a podium place. Our furthest northern lake, the complex is impressive in the extreme and with club house, café and bar on site it’ll be a great place for the event.

We always like to welcome new venues into the BCAC fold and the Q Lake at Pool Bridge Farm is an up-and-coming day ticket water that we couldn't ignore. Great facilities and a big head of fish has quickly established Pool Bridge Farm as a top northern venue and one that quickly sold out when the eliminators were announced. Entrants from Fox, Crafty Carper and Elite will battle it out for the team points but one team member coming up from the 'East End' will no doubt create a lot of interest. Eastenders star Scott Maslen will be among the competitors and fishing with Martin Ford. Let's just hope he doesn't bring the Mitchell brothers with him or things could really kick off!
