The 2012 event sees the BCAC enter its 14th year and the tournament gets bigger and better with places now at a premium as the competition carpers battle it out for the most credible title in the UK carp match scene.

All eyes will be on our eliminators, the hectic semi’s at Barston, and the finals which return once again to beautiful Broadlands in September. The prize fund has grown by a whopping £5,000 this year to £20,000 and a place in the history books up for grabs, it’s little wonder that the BCAC is held in such high regard by carp anglers around the world.

Covered by virtually all of the angling press and also by Talk Sport national radio and Sky Sports television, it means there is a fair amount of fame involved too.
